World Trade Organisation (WTO)

Its headquarters is in Geneva.

The WTO is the legal and institution basis of the multilateral trading system which aims at liberalisation of world trade.

WTO came into existance on January1, 1995 replacing GATT.

WTO has 150 members in december 2005.
